Loon in Balloon, Inc. has contracted with Greenleaf Book Group, one of the largest book distributors in the U.S., to market the second edition of Hawkmoon. Greenleaf has designed a beautiful new cover with updated author information and reviews.

"Nancy is now a client of EMSI, a publicity firm in Clearwater, FL. They have designed a nationwide print and radio campaign for Hawkmoon, which has given Nancy the opportunity to share her story with fifteen radio markets and countless online magazines

In May, Nancy participated in a book signing at the Briargate Barnes and Noble in Colorado Springs. This event was sponsored by the Pikes Peak Writer's Group and included authors Kirk Farber (Postcards From a Dead Girl) and Carol Hightshoe (Chaos Challenged).

Hawkmoon was named a finalist for the Colorado Humanities 2010 Colorado Book Award in the Historical/Romance category

In November 2010 Nancy met with John DeDakis at a writing seminar in Franklin, PA. John is the senior copy editor for "The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer" on CNN. He has written two novels: Fast Track, and Bluff.
